New DS game mixes Looney Toons and Elite Beat Agents!
I had heard good things about Duck Amuck but hadn’t planned on buying until Cary wrote is typically awesome and overflowing review of the mini-games. Then I simply had to get it! And since then it has become a fave in our family – everyone has enjoyed it, but my younger son has taken complete hold of it … I don’t think I’ll ever get to play again. So while it is rare for me to get gaga over a game announcement that isn’t a PC RPG or FPS, this one has me shouting GIMME!
The game is called Looney Tunes: Cartoon Concerto, and it is a rhythm game that will feature songs and clips from many favorite cartoons and include characters such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird.
You use the stylus to conduct an orchestra, and are rewarded for success by unlocking actual cartoon clips! And just in case you were wondering, it has been reported that What’s Opera, Doc? *IS* going to be in the game! That alone is worth the price of admission! The game is scheduled for release in June.

Hey High School Musical fans… the DS game is also like Elite Beat Agents. This should be good too.

I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve played it, but.. no, fine, I won’t reserve judgment. I’m programmed to automatically respond negatively to any game that is released after a popular innovative title that just does the same thing but with licensed characters 🙁

Well, I have gone on record as LOVING the DS High School Musical game, so I suppose I’m a natural for this one 🙂
