Rock Band 2 Song List
I’m floored. This is an incredible range of music filled with favorites of mine and bold choices. Yeah, some stuff is obvious – even boring – but this has Bob Dylan, Beck (!), and Journey. Oh. My. God. This is fricking amazing. Good thing my roommate is bringing a 360 back with him once break is over because I don’t think I’ll be able to keep myself from getting this. Dinosaur Jr? Bikini Kill? Talking Heads? Testament? Jethro fricking Tull? SWEET LORD.

I’m going to wait on Guitar Hero IV myself. I’m more interested in the music editor than playing with the included songs.

Wow, if this game was only like 60 dollars and not 200 (I’m sure it’s gonna be 180 or more) I’d get it just for Pinball wizard. I love that song. Wow, they’ve got RHCP and Grateful dead. Looks like some good songs. Just hope they have a guitar only version. I wouldn’t even be able to pull off multiplayer in my small room where my 360 is.

also, I’m wondering how Master Exploder is going to come out. I mean, one of the funniest parts of the song is the fact that Kyle keeps repeating what Jack Black says and it was great when Jack said the “F word” and kyle just sort of repeated it even though it wasn’t even at the end of the phrase.

@ Papa – “I’m going to wait on Guitar Hero IV myself. I’m more interested in the music editor than playing with the included songs.”
That’s a good point … unless you’re a singer. And personally, I sadly – very sadly – lack the ability to write music and also have no interest in playing other people’s music any more than I’d want to read other people’s poetry. That said, I hope there are a lot of people like you out there Papa. Just for the sake of the art of the medium amd because the gaming pundit in me would LOVE to see some band “make it” using a game like GH or RB.
GH and RB have already helped out a lot of amateur bands by including them as bonuses. GH1 fans? Who’s with me? Caveman Rejoice!

So why are you buying something filled with other people’s music? 😉
