Being a game reviewer – particularly one on the sports beat – the arrival of NCAA College Football in the mailbox means that Summer is halfway done and Fall is around the corner. Not cheery really, but that’s okay, especially if you’re a football fan. Since Madden, the official start of the Football season for many, comes out on Tuesday, lets check out the college version now. For now, here’s the content review. Go Badgers.

I see that Sparty made the cover, as opposed to Bucky (with his creepily oversized head)! Hah!

I personally have no alumni in this fight, but my brother-in-law lives in East Lansing and the only real College football experience of my life was with the Spartans. Loved it, the only drawback was that the band played a tribute to Styx. I kid you not.

I went to MSU and I will admit that I like Styx. A tribute to them is no worse then hearing the band play Louie Louie for the 100,000th time.
