As for last week’s games, Gears of War 2 has proven to be an excellent game, perhaps even better than the original, while Resistance 2 is not quite as highly rated but still solid. Tom Clancy’s End War has met with mixed reviews, and my own personal feel on the portable version is that while it is better than Field Commander, this is no ‘Advance War Killer’.
Enjoy gaming!

Well I’ve already got Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts preordered. I’ll also probably get Tales of Symphonia 2 on the Wii eventually. –Cary

Age of Booty = BEST Title ever!
Secret Service: Ultimate Sacrifice = Most Tasteless Timing (imo)
My Stop Smoking Coach with Allen Carr = Least FUN game evert
Eternal Poison = Very Idiotic Title
Good job Mike! I’m actually starting to rely on this myself

If I can tear myself away from Fallout 3 I will pick up Call of Duty: World at War, but mainly because all my COD4 friends are moving to the new game. And I am proud to say that my addiction to WoW must be fully kicked because I am having no urges to pick up Lich King.

I am definitely in ‘wait and see’ mode of Call of Duty … loved #4 but this one doesn’t seem to be cut from the same material.

One of the GameCube games I picked up to play on our Wii a couple of years ago or so was Tales of Symphonia. I finished it, unlike many JRPGs I start, and my kids liked to watch me playing it, as well. So, I expect that I’ll be picking up the sequel sometime reasonably soon — sooner than Cary it sounds like. Maybe this time one of my kids will feel like playing it, as well.
I’ve read that having a completed saved ToS game will have some effect on Dawn of the New World, but I’m not sure exactly how and what.
Of the bounty of games above, ToS:DotNW is the only one that catches my interest, particularly since Rise of the Argonauts was delayed until next month, and since I’m not a MMORPGer.

Left 4 Dead is a must for me next week.
This week I’m spending trying to remind MS and Sony that I can’t review or answer questions about Gears 2 or Resistance 2 without copies of the game! Agree with Mike on “wait and see” with CoD. It’s a different developer, isn’t it? Remember folks, developer almost always is the most important indicator of quality. Subject almost never lives up.

Yeah – it is Treyarch, responsible for the worst entry in the series.
