This Week in Games: March 15 – 21
Talk about the Invasion of the Handhelds! This week the PSP gets an excellent looking shooter from the folks who brought us the Syphon Filter games, Resistance Retribution. The DS gets a release list that would make any console proud for a holiday release list! As for the rest … well, not very much, including a PC list that includes half the games that supposedly came out last week, and the week before. But this week isn’t about them – if you have a DS or PSP, I hope you’ve been saving your pennies … Check out the list!
- PES 2009 Pro-Evolution Soccer
- PES 2009 Pro-Evolution Soccer
- Totally Spies: Totally Party
- Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution
- Rune Factory: Frontier
- Marble Saga Kororinpa
- PES 2009 Pro-Evolution Soccer
- Pimp My Ride: Street Racing
- Resistance: Retribution
- Scrabble
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
- Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume
- Suikoden Tierkreis
- Scrabble
- Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure
- TrackMania DS
- History Great Empires: Rome
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
- Tom Clancy’s HAWX
- World in Conflict: Complete Edition
- OMG! High School
As for last week … well, you can read GamerDad’s review of Resident Evil V, and Mana Khemia for the PSP … well, that is just abysmal. Fortunately Avalon Code is better, but still just in the ‘average’ zone.
What I’m Currently Playing:
- PC: Drakensang: The Dark Eye – I am still engrossed with this one, and working through some very challening puzzles that feel like they’ve taken longer than many recent shooters!
- PC: Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate – still working through this excellent module, which still hasn’t seen release yet.
Enjoy gaming!
