Pinball FX 2 is about to get super powers! Starting today, you can download four new tables on Xbox LIVE, and each one is based on a popular Marvel Comics superhero! Keep in mind that in order to play these, you’ll need to download Pinball FX 2. But don’t worry, FX 2 itself is free. Once you download the hub, you can purchase whatever tables you want.

The four Marvel hero tables are Spiderman, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Blade. Each table has heroes and villains from their respective series, and the rules and features reflect that. In the Spiderman table, the Green Goblin can use mind altering gas, which reverses your flipper controls temporarily! Help Tony Stark suit up to become Iron Man by hitting specific targets so he can battle foes. Hit certain bumpers and send the ball to the middle of the screen so Wolverine and Sabertooth can duel it out. And when the lights go out on the Blade table, that means it’s nighttime when Blade’s power grows and you can do special score-boosting missions!

All the Marvel Pinball tables have the same features as the other ones in the Pinball FX 2 series. The graphics are realistic, and it may just be me, but the familiar characters help make the rules and objectives on each table easier to understand, too. If you like comic book heroes and pinball, you’ll want to check this one out.
