G.P. the GamerPuppet Unboxes the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix Collector’s Edition!
Hey folks! G.P. the GamerPuppet here! For Christmas, Cary got the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix Collector’s Edition, and he let me unbox it for you! This game has an HD version of Kingdom Hearts 2 for play on PS3, as well as a PS3 version of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, which was previously only playable on PSP. So let’s take a look at all the neat goodies you get inside!
First of all, here’s the box it came in. It’s a pretty big box, as you can see!
The thing that took up most of this box was a plush toy of one of the Heartless critters. It’s a pretty sizable plush, at about 9 inches or so.
Another thing in the box was an art book. It’s a nice hardcover book, but a bit short and small at only 32 pages.
Inside you can find a selection of character art, enemies, and world backgrounds. I tried to show you one of Cary’s favorite pages featuring TRON, but that naughty Heartless photobombed the shot!
One of the neat things it had was an exclusive Disney Kingdom Hearts pin. At Disney World, you can buy pins of nearly every Disney character, and trading them with employees there is a pretty big deal. A few months ago, Cary went to Disney World with his family and talked more about those pins in one of his articles that you can read here. Anyway, here is the Kingdom Hearts pin. This is the only place you can get it!
And last but not least, let’s talk about the game! Instead of a regular box, it comes in this really nice tin that has artwork on both sides.
And on the inside are the two discs for the games!
And that’s all! Cary says that a soundtrack CD would’ve helped round out the package a little better, but otherwise this is a pretty neat Collector’s Edition! In the comments section, tell us your favorite Kingdom Hearts characters and Disney worlds! Cary’s favorite character is Aqua from Birth By Sleep, and his favorite worlds are the Winnie the Pooh, Steamboat Willie, and TRON areas.
