I got another batch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo figures recently.  This time it’s a couple of Pokémon characters and an Animal Crossing star.  Let’s take a look at them!

Here they are in the boxes.  You have Pichu, the Pokémon Trainer, and Isabelle.

And here they are out of the boxes.  Not much to say about them really. Pichu looks adorable as ever, and there is some nice detail on the trainer, like a backpack.

OK I guess I have a little more to say about them.  For one, this isn’t the first time Isabelle got an amiibo.  She actually has two already, one in her spring/summer outfit and one in her fall/winter outfit.  But I guess they had to have another one in Smash.  The picture above makes it look like she’s a Pokémon!

And speaking of which, I’m surprised they didn’t package the Trainer with Squirtle and Ivysaur amiibo figures, since you can play as them separately in Smash Ultimate now.  They ARE releasing amiibo of those two Pokémon, but they’re releasing them in September, along with Solid Snake.  I have those pre-ordered, too, so be sure to check back then as I’m sure that’ll be an interesting group picture as well!  Later!  –Cary
