A couple of years ago, Oreo made some cookies with Pokémon characters on them!  And now they’re back but with Mario characters.  So let’s take a look at them!

Here’s a picture of the front of the box.  You could get them in smaller packs, perfect for school lunches.  That’s the one I got.  They also had them in regular packs.

On the side of the box is a QR code you can scan that’ll take you to a Mario Oreo website.  There you can buy the Oreos online, watch videos and commercials, and they tell you about a special ‘game’ where you can defeat Bowser!  And they tell you what characters are on the Oreos.

OK now let’s look at the Oreos I got.  I didn’t get them all, but I did get a few repeats and I shared some of the packets with family and friends.

I’m glad I got Toad because he’s my favorite Mario character.  Kinda sad I didn’t get Luigi since he’s my second favorite, but oh well.  They’re just Oreos.

Here’s Bowser.  The story goes that Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach, and that’s why there’s not an Oreo with Peach on it.  The ‘game’ you’re supposed to play is to defeat Bowser by dunking him in a glass of milk.  Drowning Bowser in milk and then eating him seems pretty harsh, but Mario dunks him in lava all the time.

And that’s all for Mario Oreos!  It’s too bad they didn’t have Wario as a character, because then you could have a Wa-Oreo!  Get it?  Honestly I’m not a big fan of Oreos.  I don’t care much for that cream in the center.  If they made them without the cream, I’d probably like them better, but nobody else would.  Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments section.  Later!  –Cary
