It’s been a long time since I reviewed a mobile game!  But here’s a free to play one where you solve word challenges and it’s like a cross between Scrabble and a crossword puzzle.  You get points for solving them, and when you get enough, you can unlock a part of an outfit for a cartoon cat.  Catagrams is available on mobile devices but reviewed on iPad here.

Learning how to play is easy, you can probably just look at a screenshot and get a good idea how it goes.  You get an assortment of letter tiles.  You can tell which ones go together by the colored stripe across the side or top of them.  Fit them together and make words out of them, and some will cross each other like a crossword puzzle.  When you solve the puzzle, you get points which will go towards unlocking a part of an outfit for a cat in a picture.  You can get more points if you choose to make the puzzles harder.  There’s also a different daily puzzle you can solve as well.  Catagrams is just a simple, cozy little word game, nothing bad about it at all.

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Reading skill is a must since these are word puzzles, and parental supervision is recommended for the in-game purchases and ads.
