Man these games where you fit things inside a box must be pretty popular, or easy to make.  Because in the past year, I’ve reviewed these types of games where you fit cats into boxes, zoo animals on a pool float, dogs on a bed, and food in a bento box.  And now here’s one where you fit breads, pastries, and other tasty treats in a bread basket!

In the middle of each level is a bread basket, and cat themed pastries are scattered around it.  Each type of bread is a different size and shape and can be fit into the basket in a grid.  Highlight bread with the L stick and move it with the A button and rotate it with the R button.  When all the bread is in the basket, you can go onto the next level.  There are nearly 100 levels in all.  The only problem I had with this game is that it gets pretty hard about a quarter of the way through, and a hint option or level skip would’ve been nice.  But otherwise it’s a decent little simple puzzler.

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Reading skill isn’t needed and the game may be considered somewhat educational as it enforces spatial relations.  But younger gamers may find it difficult after a while.  Neko Bakery is rated E for Everyone.
