Ask GamerDad 7/18/08
Posted on July 18th, 2008 by
This week we tackle the BIG questions like: What does my teen want with a console webcam? What PlayStation 2 games are good for toddlers? Is a Game Boy Advance SP worth it? And a 10 year-old asks… is it fair? As always, GamerDad has the answers.

Why is this article at the top now? It’s the exact same article with no alterations at all. You posted this week’s edition of Ask Gamerdad a few days ago. In fact, it’s still got the same date at the top.

I have no idea … but on topic:
– I strongly agree with the ‘keep gaming systems in a public place’. Even Grand Theft Childhood, which has been oft-quoted for stating things about gaming not making killers, has shown correlations between bedroom game systems and worse behavior and grades – not causal links, mind you. Regardless, when you put the stuff in their room, it becomes part of their space, and you are violating their space to see what they are doing. Public space means public behavior.
– As for the 10-year old … yeah, complain about T games that should be E-10 for now .. .and enjoy as many of them as you can for the next few years.

I mainly did it to mess with you Some Guy. 😉
Most of our readers seem to read from work and Ask GamerDad is for those kinds of readers. Those kinds of readers are also less likely to scroll down past the articles posted over the weekend. I popped it up top for a bit, it’ll drop back down soon.

Yeah, I think Ask GamerDad should be at the top until at least Tuesday to get the drive-by readers.
