Link Twin (iOS, Google Play, Galaxy Apps)

Twins Tom and Lilly need your help getting home in this downloadable puzzle game available on iOS, Google Play, and Galaxy Apps, but reviewed on iPad here.  When you swipe up, down, left, or right, the twins will move in that direction at the same time.  Your goal is to get them to stand on two targets at once.  Use blocks, rocks, switches, and warp pads to help you along the way.  But if just one of them falls off the playfield, you’ll have to start the level over again.

Play control is easy to figure out and the game gives you plenty of levels to help you learn how to play and use the various objects on the field.  You get a limited supply of hints, so use them sparingly.  Luckily when you complete chapters, you’ll earn a couple more hints to use.  There are tons of levels, too. Solve levels in as few moves as possible to get a higher rating. There are some nice little details and touches, like when the twins are next to each other, they’ll reach out and hold hands.  If you like puzzle games, you should definitely download this one.

Kid Factor:

Reading skill is helpful for some of the text, but not necessary just to play.  Younger gamers may need help with some of the tougher puzzles.  Nothing really violent here.  If one of the twins falls off the playfield, they just spin around and fall into oblivion.  The game might be considered educational since you use logic and thinking skills while playing.  Also there aren’t any in-game ads or purchases that I could see, so that’s good.
