Club Penguin Elite Penguin Force (DS) with GamerGirl

In an effort to save $5 a month yet still quell my daughter’s growing obsession with these colorful seabirds, I bought her the Club Penguin DS game. Lets hear what she thinks of it. Double-Click to watch it bigger at YouTube

  1. Fantastic! I tell you, Disney’s been advertising the heck out of that Club Penguin game. I can’t say it’s piqued my interest, but I’m glad the kids like it. My favorite penguin game is an old arcade game called Pengo, but I imagine that’s too old for anyone to know about. Can’t wait to see what game Maggie and Henry will play next! –Cary

  2. Love Pengo. Didn’t play it much but did play it a little. I’m working on getting a copy so I can put it in my self-made arcade machine..

  3. Maggie would play this all day long if she could. She’s getting her brother into it also. She can play with her friend (our neighbor) and she really likes that.

  4. On a related subject, but not penguins, I just caved and let my son get a subscription to Runescape, for $5.95 a month, and we decided he’d pay for it with his allowance and also monitor how often he plays to see if it’s worth continuing. These online games can be a pain, since you have to cancel in advance of the next billing (they bill a month in advance). He used to play Club Penguin, and even got me into it for a while.

  5. My sister is into club penguin, and i have played it before, but I really don’t understand why she bought the game. My mom refuses to let us subscribe to anything (unless there are time cards like for xbl) so my sister got the game instead of subscribing, but from what she told me, it’s just the regular game, except single-player and you can upload items you get in the DS game to your profile for the actual one. I always have a tough time understanding why she buys the ds games she does too. She loves shovelware for some reason. She must have 5 knock-off nintendogs game and all but one of the actual nintendogs. And also, I remember runescape, my experience with that game is similar to my weekend with the WoW trial. It’s fun, but the game is boring. I like talking to friends and it’s nice to basically have a game in the background while you do this, but without anyone i know online, it quickly gets boring and monotonous. I must have liked runescape though because at that time we were using 10 hours a month free netzero and they let me have my own laptop so i could have my own ten hours.
