Arrange blocks to fill a playfield in Settris.  It kind of reminds me of the pentomino board game, which Tetris was based on, as well as those tanogram puzzles.  It’s available on all current consoles and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.

There are two modes of play.  You can play regular stages, and there’s 80 of them!  These are not timed.  But in Time Attack, the other mode, you choose how many pieces your puzzle will have (4, 5, or 6), and then you have five minutes to solve as many of those as possible.  You’ll move a cursor around the screen to play, and can select pieces by pressing a button.  The pieces look like Tetris blocks, but some can be less or more than four blocks.  Rotate the pieces with the L and R shoulder buttons and flip them with the square button.  If a piece can be placed on the field, the background will be green and you can just press the button to place it.  You can always remove pieces to rearrange them if you like.  Some playfields have black blocks that can’t be moved, or colored blocks that only certain colored pieces can go into.  When you fill all the squares you can go onto the next stage.  My only problem is that I wish there was a hint option.  But otherwise this is a pretty decent little puzzler.

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Reading skill is helpful for the instructions, but not necessary just to play.  This one might be considered educational, too, as I remember seeing similar, physical games like this when I was in school.  Settris is rated E for Everyone.
