There are LOTS of classic games that are still awesome! I could make a list ten miles long! Classic games are great for kids because they’re so easy to understand and play. When little brother Jeff was very young, he would play Spy Hunter for HOURS and the Hasbro remake of BreakOut on the PSOne was one of the first games he ever beat! –Cary

Yeah, it was hard to pick 10. So I tried to pick a few from old but still relevant consoles (Parrappa), from each download service, and from a handheld or two. If you guys like, it’d probably help readers if you made your own lists and posted them here.

An article about classic games for kids would be a GREAT idea. But right now I’m working on my ‘best games of the year SO FAR’ article. –Cary
